SMALL BUSINESS, INSULTED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT?

Anyone who owns a business knows for sure that they are among the hard working Americans making this country great. So perhaps you remember when the first stimulus payement was issued, it was promoted as assistance to hardworking Americans. Well, if your business is acheiving success because of your determination and responsibility, you did not get this stimulus, because it was for hard working Americans. Does this make sense to you? Probably it is not the loss of $600 that you are worried about, but the exclusion from the term hard working American?!?! Does this make sense to you? You who works long hours and refuse to fail as others are depending on you? Are you insulted by the government?

It seems that responsible people are being attacked for being successful. It seems that determination, ingenuity and hard work's rewards are now shameful. It seems that in today's climate, being wealthy is shameful no matter how the wealth is achieved.

Not every successful, hard working person was involved in the financial industry or any other situations that have been widely reported as questionable. Not all wealth has been inherited, most of the nations wealthy are business owners. Owning a business is one of the most difficult ways to make a living. It is not easy to meet the extraordinary business expenses of employment, taxes and overhead. I maintain that if someone steps up to do so and overcomes these challenges to become wealthy, they should be congratulated, not villified. This is capitalism and it has been proven to be the greatest way to build a great nation.

I don't mean for anyone to feel sorry for the wealthy business owners, but they should be thanked, not insulted. For every day they step up to open their business, there is another day of employment and huge contribution to the economy.

I cannot understand where those attacking small business think that the funds come from to pay for all the entitlements and the services. My client's pay nearly 50% of their income in different taxes. Where will this come from when they go away? Again, small business should be cheered not attacked. Without this contribution our country will disintegrate.

I would like to hear what anyone has to say and then I will elaborate on how much will be lost when a business closes down. What do you think?
